Capucine Chapelier-Dehesdin

Prior to starting her career in Osteopathy, Capucine studied Philosophy, Psychology, and Sociology, and, coming from an artistic and show business family background, worked as a Casting Director Assistant and Movie Director assistant in Paris.

Capuncine graduated from a 5 years full time training in France at the CIDO School of Osteopathy in St Etienne, and the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in Maidstone, Kent. She spent two years teaching osteopathy to German, Spanish, Russian, French & English postgraduates at ESO, and has worked for Nelsons Homeopathic Pharmacy in Bond street.

She has 7 years post graduate experience in osteopathy for adults, children, pregnant and post partum patients.

Capucine uses very gentle relaxing techniques ranging from cranio-sacral, functional, articulation, and stretching, to myofascial release & visceral osteopathy.

Capucine also practices Pediatric Osteopathy, a gentle and effective treatment for children and babies. Pediatric Osteopathy can help with sleeplessness, digestive issues and monitoring the ongoing physical development of babies and young children. Consultations are available in English and French, Capucine is available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Anamaya and is a registered Osteopath with private health insurer AXA PPP.
