David Lion

After a successful career in the City and running his own company David trained to become a psychotherapist. David is a Registered Psychotherapist with both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). He has a wide range of clinical experience working privately and in the NHS with adults and young people.

David will explore with you your thoughts and emotions, your problems and difficulties with understanding and warmth. As an integrative therapist, he is able to draw on different ways of working that are specifically suited to you. This will help to alleviate pain and distress and enable you to bring about change, so you are able to move forward with your life. You will be treated with care and respect, non-judgmentally and confidentially.

The initial session is an assessment where you can talk about your concerns, to understand the way David will work with you and for you to see that you will be comfortable working together.

You will then be offered regular sessions which normally last 50 minutes weekly and it can be decided whether the therapy would be suited to short-term, long-term or open-ended therapy.
