Systematic Kinesiology or Applied Kinesiology was developed by the American Chiropractor, Dr George Goodheart in 1964.
The key tool for any Kinesiologist is the muscle test. It monitors a clients ability to hold a muscle against light pressure, while the Kinesiologist looks for changes within the muscle strength. Each muscle has a related energy pathway, or meridian, and each meridian is associated with an organ.
Through testing muscles the Kinesiologist gathers information on the client and during session where appropriate corrects those imbalances found. At the end of each session the therapist will suggest potential changes the client can make, these will include remedies, lifestyle changes, nutritional supplementation, working with related emotional stresses and non manipulative structural corrections.
