Reiki means ‘universal life force energy’ and refers to the energy that flows through all living things, sustaining life itself. There is an abundant supply of this energy all around us and when we are in excellent health, there is a powerful flow through the body. During stressful times, this energy is slowed down or restricted.
Reiki treatment helps to bring this energy back to balance. We get reconnected with the source and aligned with the optimum of our life force frequencies. Reiki treatment is a non-intrusive, fully clothed treatment in which the practitioner gently places their hand in a sequence of positions which cover the whole body. A full treatment usually takes 1 to 1½ hours with each position held for several minutes.
Reiki can help produce a general feeling of vitality, well-being, and emotional calm. It can also help with acute injury problems and post-operational pain, as well as more chronic problems such as headaches, asthma and excema. It can also help in the breaking of addictions and with emotional clearing.
It is easily adapted to most medical conditions and may be used safely by people of all ages, including the new-borns, pregnant mothers, surgical patients, the frail and the elderly and all animals, in any situation.
